Alkimos SLSC gathers for Remembrance Day and club blessing

Alkimos SLSC in WA may be a small club that is continuing to learn across all aspects of lifesaving, but they have the heart of a big club.

President Garry Buford, the Board of Directors and their new Club Chaplain, Charmaine Livingstone, welcomed James from Butler College who played The Last Post.  A small crowd gathered for the Remembrance Day prayer as well as the minute silence.

Whilst they had everyone together, Charmaine prayed a blessing over the whole club, it’s members and families for a safe season, both in and out of the water.

What a special day!!  So wonderful to commemorate the centenary of the end of World War I.
