PAMBULA SLSC WELCOMES NEW CHAPLAIN, BRONSON SYMES

It is with great pleasure that LSCA would like to welcome Pambula SLSC in the Far South Coast Branch in NSW to the Chaplaincy family and congratulate Bronson Symes for taking on the role of Chaplain.

Bronson, never being part of the lifesaving movement before has already gained his Bronze Medallion and his IRB Crew awards and is happy to be able to contribute to patrols and get to know his fellow club members.

Since forming in 1914, Pambula SLSC, despite being one of the most remote club in NSW, has been at the forefront of lifesaving, pioneering many innovations including the first formalised Nippers, advocating for females to play active lifesaving roles, training the first female rescue boat driver in the country, and instigating the Special Nippers program for children and young adults with physical or intellectual disabilities. They even hosted the first visit by the National Greek Lifeguarding Association in 1999, after travelling there to train the first Greek Lifeguards.

We wish, the club and Bronson, the best for the remainder of the 2020-2021 season.
